The Jesus Army Charitable Trust has been established to open and run Jesus Centres across the UK. Northampton, Coventry and London Jesus Centres are expected to be the first of many. |
| |
The love of Jesus expressed daily in worship, friendship and care for every kind of person. |
| |
Jesus Centres in Northampton and Coventry are open daily, providing a hand of friendship in a 'one stop shop' to any in need of spiritual, social or practical help.
The Heartcry Appeal has been launched by JACT to fund the setting up and running of Jesus Centres.
Coventry Jesus Centre, which opened in 2002, was the first main Centre and is proving to be a huge success, helping over 100 people every week.
The Northampton Jesus Centre is based on a former cinema in the centre of Northampton. It opened at the end of 2004 and offers a wide range of services including skills training, support groups, step-up scheme and a public cafe.
London Jesus Centre opened in mid 2008 based on a former convent, located near Oxford Circus. |
